History: he lived with his mate a pretty normal life to the day he died for reasons I'll maybe let you know in the story. When he was on his way to the 'other world' his light of guidence, a light that guides a dead soul to the place it belongs, was stolen by the thief. Luckly the map the thief left enabled him to return to the world of the living. Otherwise he would have been stuck in an interdimensional space with unpleasant residents.
Personality: since his death experince he has a phobia of dying, any situation that reessembles that he might get in a fight or another deadly situation will make him either fleeing or hiding or both, he also won't act rationelly in a dangerous situation (including running against walls or sharp objects or other stupid things). He's although afraid of bright lights.
Otherwise he's a curious and friendly animal. A bit reserved about strangers, but once you got his trust he will be a loyal friend.
Other: Even though he is dead, he can be sort of killed. He can be injured like a normal animal and if he's dealt lethal damage, poisoned or anything else that would kill a normal living being he'll be send back to the space in between the world of the living and the dead and won't be able to return.
